At The Music Klub, we agree that music is an essential part of the education and wellbeing of children and young people. At the easiest, most global level, people of all ages listen to music because it gives them pleasure. To children and young people in general, satisfaction can be extreme and appears to be associated with the most intense, peak experiences of life.
The aim of the music 101 program is to improve the musical skills of children and young people. All participants will be provided with learning experiences that will improve their expertise, understanding, and skills in creating and responding to music through active engagement in the core musical activities of composing performing and listening. The program will help build a safe and caring atmosphere for children and young people to gradually build stronger relationships that are needed to maintain a positive mental attitude. Focusing on developing the participant’s capacity to listen carefully and respond physically to a wide range of different kinds of music. Students will learn to play musical instruments and sing a variety of songs from memory, adding accompaniments and creating short compositions.
The program will also provide an enlightening experience, channeling practical responses to physical actions that maximize their quality of living. Together with the help of each participant, we will set up a transparent platform that empowers children and young people to visualize their dreams and aspirations.
Participants ill be able to:
Perform, listen, study and analyze music from a range of historical periods, forms, styles and customs, including works by famous composers and musicians.
Learn to sing and to use their voices to create and compose music on their own and with others. Have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and use music technology appropriately.
Understand and explore how music is created, produced and communicated, including knowledge of pitch, dynamics, tempo, timbre etc.
