GradeTrack
“Elevating learners aged through music, attainment, and academic excellence.”

Our Approach to Alternative Learning
The GCSE Enhancement Programme is a curriculum-aligned music production and performance pathway designed to strengthen students’ attainment, engagement, and personal development within GCSE Music.
Delivered by The Music Klub, the programme enhances existing classroom provision through industry-standard studio practice, personalised mentoring, and structured assessment. It supports students to develop high-quality coursework, improve exam readiness, and build the confidence and discipline required for academic success.
The programme is particularly effective for students who may be disengaged, underperforming, or affected by SEMH, SEND, or attendance challenges, providing a practical and motivating route back into learning.

Programme Impact: Supporting Years 9, 10 & 11
Y9
For Year 9 students, GradeTrack establishes strong technical, musical, and behavioural foundations. This programme builds early ownership of learning, develops musical literacy, and introduces GCSE expectations in an accessible and motivating way.
Y10
For Year 10 students, GradeTrack focuses on consolidating skills and strengthening coursework. Students are supported to develop structured compositions, controlled performances, and reflective learning habits aligned to exam board requirements.
Y11
For Year 11 students, the programme becomes an intensive attainment and exam-preparation pathway. Learners refine their final compositions, record assessed performances, and master evaluation and listening skills.
Outcomes for Learners
By the end of the programme, each student leaves with a comprehensive portfolio of assessed work, including original compositions, recorded performances, and reflective evaluations. This portfolio provides tangible evidence of progress and achievement, supporting applications to further education, vocational pathways, and creative apprenticeships.
Importantly, GradeTrack equips learners with transferable life skills such as problem-solving, time management, critical thinking, and digital literacy. These competencies strengthen employability and prepare students for the demands of post-16 education and the wider world of work.
Through its integrated focus on academic rigour, personal development, and professional practice, the GradeTrack programme enables students to move forward with increased confidence, improved qualifications, and a clearer sense of purpose. As a result, participants are better positioned to achieve sustained success in education, training, and future careers.
After completion, students will:
✅ Improve GCSE attainment
✅ Increase attendance
✅ Strengthen behaviour
✅ Build confidence
✅ Produce high-quality coursework
✅ Access clear progression routes
