WHY THE MUSIC KLUB?

Established in 2009, we deliver positive, engaging workshops and short courses for young people to support their education and employment skills needs. Recognizing that young people are inspired by the creative arts and media industries, our programmes embed innovative, cutting-edge social media and creative platforms designed to engage and promote social inclusion and expression whilst developing essential skills, knowledge, and self-esteem to support their career development.

WHAT ASSISTANCE OR SUPPORT DO WE PROVIDE?

We provide creative bespoke teaching assistance in a range of KS1, 2, 3 and 4, creative practices that increase the performance of students, enhancing the national curriculum, developing creative techniques and effective teaching formulas to produce groundbreaking results. We also deliver holistic, person-centered support programmes, enabling us to provide 1:1 support, group sessions, and integrated community support as required and appropriate for young people’s personal development.

WHAT IS YOUR PROCESS?

Currently, we deliver five programmes:

  • Positive Impact Project - supporting young people impacted by negative events in their lives to positively change their perspective and attitude to become inspirational citizens in the community

  • Mind & Melodies - enabling young people to build confidence, promote self-expression whilst developing and exploring working in the creative media

  • Music vs Crime - interactive workshops exploring the relationship between music, young people, criminal activity and violence to develop positive outcomes and self-expression

  • The Elevate Program - aims to fuse musical techniques and implement effective strategies to improve the reading level of students from disadvantaged groups who struggle with basic reading and comprehension

  • Transitions - the scheme explores the inevitable shift that year five and six students face when approaching secondary education. The Music Klub wants to assist with the transitional development of children entering into a secondary school environment by preparing them for the potential challenges they may face during the initial stages of their education.
